To Whom It May Concern:

In accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:27-16.12(f)10, I am requesting written

approval from the NJDEP to use the Sata RP spray gun.

The VOC emissions resulting from the use of a Sata RP

spray gun for automotive refinishing does not exceed the emissions that

would result from either the HVLP or electrostatic spray application

methods. Please find the attached approval letter from California's

South Coast Air Quality Management District as evidence that the

Sata RP spray gun meets New Jersey's VOC emission

requirements.
